The stockroom associate will be responsible to assist shop associates with daily function and will report to the Shop Manager. Must have basic understanding of parts and equipment. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and willing to learn. Ability to formulate root cause and schedule repairs with the shop mechanics. Maintain records of equipment and equipment status, and inventory part. Ability to strategize and set-up and maintain Inventory system including but not limited to inputting data, creating stockroom location, set min and max quantities, receive parts, keep organized, and ability to track usage.

Duties, Skills, and Responsibilities:

  • All employees are required to work safely and report any injury immediately
  • Ordering parts for the maintenance shop, capability to look up part on computer and/ or calling vendors
  • Ability to drive to parts location when needed
  • Ability to strategize and set-up and maintain Inventory system including but not limited to inputting data, creating stockroom location, set min and max quantities, receive parts, keep organized, and ability to track usage
  • Maintain and distribute small tools and equipment to field employees including but not limited to shovels, brooms, grinders, generators, demo saws, ect.
  • Maintain log of items that have been distributed
  • Ability to track items that have been returned for maintenance
  • Ability to diagnose equipment dysfunctions and order parts necessary to repair
  • Coordinate repair of equipment with shop team and return damage equipment back into service
  • Assist shop managers with distributions of equipment keys and track
  • Must have basic understanding of mechanical equipment


  • Two plus years of experience
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, supervisors, managers and customers
  • Ability to operate a computer
  • Ability to produce quality work
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, or irregular hours that will be required based on schedule
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must be able to provide legal right to work in the U.S. as BBAC participates in E-Verify
  • Must be able to pass a drug test
  • Possess a valid driver’s license required
  • Possess a CDL a plus
  • Bilingual is a plus
  • Pre-employment drug screen and background

Physical Abilities:

  • Ability to lift 50 (+ -) pounds or be able to ask for assistance
  • Ability to twist, turn and bend continuously
  • Ability to push, pull and carry objects
  • Ability to shovel using hands, arms and back to complete task
  • Ability to carry small to large tools in and around jobsite
  • Ability to stand and kneel for long periods of time (about 90% of the time walking, standing, or kneeling)
  • Ability to perform small detailed tasks

Work environment:

  • Exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles such as dust, dirt, fumes, etc
  • Ability to work in an external environment and under many weather conditions such as frigid cold, and exposure to vibration and/or loud noise
  • Employer will provide appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed, but will be the responsibility of the employee to dress appropriately for the weather conditions
